One of the most amazing stories is about how Allah protected His House — the Ka‘bah — from a powerful king named Abraha and his army of elephants.

This story, told in Surah Al-Feel, reminds us that no one is stronger than Allah and that He protects His believers in the best ways, even when the odds seem impossible.

The Story of Abraha and the Elephant Army

This story is beautifully told in our new Busy Learners Storybook,

” Tiny Wings, Big Lesson”

Through simple words and bright illustrations, children can explore how Allah protected the Ka‘bah from Abraha’s army — in a way that builds faith and curiosity.

What We Learn from Abraha’s Story

This story is not just about a battle; it’s about belief.
It teaches us that:

  • Allah’s power is greater than any strength on earth.

  • Pride leads to failure — Abraha thought he was mighty, but his plan was destroyed.

  • Allah can use even the smallest of His creations — birds and stones — to stop the biggest armies.

💬 Ask your child:
“Who was stronger — Abraha’s elephants or Allah’s birds?”

The answer will make them smile — because they’ll know that Allah’s power has no limits.

Allah Protects His Believers Too!

Just as Allah protected His House, He protects His servants who believe in Him.
He guards our hearts, our homes, and our souls in ways we often don’t see.

“Indeed, my Protector is Allah, who has sent down the Book; and He protects the righteous.”
                                Surah Al-A‘raf (7:196)

When we trust Him, pray to Him, and remember Him — we are under His care.

How We Can Seek Allah’s Protection

Here are simple, daily ways children and families can seek Allah’s protection:

  • 🕊️ Say Bismillah – Before eating, studying, or leaving the house.

“In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing can harm.”Abu Dawood 5088

  • 📖 Read the Protection SurahsSurah Al-Falaq, Surah An-Naas, and Ayat al-Kursi each day

  • 💬 Make Du‘a for Safety
                       “اللَّهُمَّ احْفَظْنِي وَأَهْلِي”
                Allahumma ihfazni wa ahli
O Allah, protect me and my family.

  • 🌙 Trust Allah’s Plan (Tawakkul) – Just like the people of Makkah, believe that Allah will take care of you.

  • 🕊️ Remember Allah Often (Dhikr) – Saying SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, and Allahu Akbar brings peace and protection.

Final Reminder

The story of Abraha and the elephants reminds us that Allah’s power is endless and His protection never fails.
Even the strongest kings and the biggest armies are weak before Him.

💗 When we trust Allah, we are never alone — His protection surrounds us just as it surrounded His House in Makkah.
